                               RESOLUTION NO. 19320
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE
                   DIRECTOR OF THE CHATTANOOGA-HAMILTON COUNTY
                   REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION TO ENTER INTO
                   AN AGREEMENT WITH THE U. S. GEOLOGICAL
                   SURVEY - WATER RESOURCES DIVISION, THE
                   ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY - REGION IV,
                   THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND
                   CONSERVATION, THE HAMILTON COUNTY UTILITY
                   DISTRICTS ASSOCIATION, THE CITY OF
                   CHATTANOOGA, AND HAMILTON COUNTY RELATIVE TO
                   A PROGRAM OF IDENTIFICATION AND PROTECTION
                   OF THE GROUNDWATER RESOURCES OF HAMILTON
                   COUNTY.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Executive Director of the
       Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission be and 
is
       hereby authorized and directed to execute all agreements and
       assurances to implement the Water Resources Protection Program 
for
       the Chattanooga-Hamilton County area; and
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Executive Director be
       and is hereby authorized and directed to act in connection with
       the submission of the final statement and to provide such
       additional information as may be required.
